We ordered these for our daughters college graduation party! They came to us in Missouri, immediately and were absolutely delicious .. so fresh! It made the event!!! The staff was so helpful and it could not have been more pleasant or delightful!
These oysters were OUTSTANDING. Our in-laws helped us enjoy them . I realize that the months of July and August don't have an "R" in them, but when pronounced correctly by a Louisianian or a Japanese they do -- JuRy and ARgust. In any event we'll order another gallon in "wunna dem munt' s.... you! " P.S. I never tire writing these reviews. OUTSTANDING needs recognition!

After being quite disappointed with the oysters in my part of the country I decided to reach out to my hometown where I know oysters reign supreme. I was especially pleased with Deanie's website that offered selections that were clearly and thoroughly defined. My package arrived within the time promised and was very nicely preserved. The shucked oysters that I ordered were fresh and ready to use! My oyster patties were a big hit as one of our pre-Thanksgiving dinner treats.
Ordered 2 gallons arrived in excellent condition. They were great ate many then froze the rest in quart bags for later use.
Although the oysters were smaller than the ones in our previous order, they were just as delicious. I ordered them almost a week before we were going to fry hem just to preclude last minute problems. Deanie's delivered them exactly when requested. When we had out in-laws over for dinner, I used a brand of fry meal that I'd never used before -- and will never use again. It came in a plastic bags and was manufactured by a company in Baton Rouge. I don't even remember the brand name, but I do know that I'll always use Zatarain's Fish Fry from now on... Once Again --- OUTSTANDING!
These oysters reminded me of why I bought them. I was born and reared in NO so I know good oysters when I see them and taste them. These oysters were nice-sized, salty, and exactly what I'd expected. My late father taught me how to fry 'em, so that's what i did when we shared them with our in-laws. DEEEEE - lcious!!!
